so I am confused. why would you put all the effort into creating and building something that you in turn make people want to walk away from? why do you think that emulationstation in general has become so popular? it is because of the awesome support to allow the community make it grow and customize. I am regretting buying my XU4 more and more every day and want to just go back to retropie.

bit harsh there fnkngrv im sure you bought your xu4 for more than just being able to run batocera cosidering that you can run bato with a pi as it is also it sounds like because you cant have a custom splash?

J'ai bien compris le fait qu'il y est un calque mémoire , mais malgré le lien que tu as donné nadenislamarre je ne comprend pas comment le sauvegarder ce calque...
Il y as une manip spécial a faire?

Pour sauvegarder le calque tu exécute la commande PATH=$PATH:/usr/sbin /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-save-overlay.sh

Genetik57 Bonjour je me suis connecté en SSH et j'ai remplacé le recalboxintro.mp4 par un customisé. J'ai ensuite ouvert la console et j'ai envoyé la commande

PATH=$PATH:/usr/sbin /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-save-overlay.sh

Cela ma retourné ceci:

Le problème via WinSCP a été résolu par @nadenislamarre pour la prochaine release (5.11) mais tu peux utiliser PuTTY temporairement, ça fonctionne avec

Genetik57 I updated to the latest 5.11 version and tried the steps above. First time lines of code appeared and it really look like it have work. I then restarted my laptop and no video appeared.

I tried it again and got this error

I've been able to get the overlay to save correctly using these commands

PATH=$PATH:/sbin
/recalbox/scripts/recalbox-save-overlay.sh 100

I've restarted and the file is really there but the intro video still doesn't work.

What to do now?

probably not the correct format.
you shoudl tryn to play it as the /etc/init.d/S02splash script does without needing to reboot.

The splashscreen I'm using works on Recalbox... have the code changed?

i don't think so.
but if you run via ssh, at least, you'll get the error message.

nadenislamarre I can change the "logo-version.png" for a custom image and it works. Only when I change the MP4 file it doesn't play. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

is there a way to tell the system to read the .mp4 file instead of the png image?
