nadenislamarre Hi, first of all, I would like to emphasize how much I admire and enjoy the system, which is absolutely wonderful.

As the user sandorbx (3 Sep) informs below, the same happens here, and besides, Cemu only recognizes the connected control in Player 1, unless we configure joystick profiles in cemu (using explorer F1) for the other players 2, 3 and 4. It would be better if we could switch between the default control recognition mode as it was before version 30 or 31, and the current model (standalone) which allows cemu to recognize custom control settings. Could there be such an option already in the next DEV 33, or would it return to the way it was before?

Hey,
The Cemu bump seems to break some wiiu games like BOTW, it stutters heavily than soft freezes in a few minutes (i can exit to batocera with start+select). I deleted the shader cache , disabled graphics packs, reinstalled, nothing helped just rewerting back to 31. Can I manually downgrade Cemu?

I have a little trouble with the V32 Beta 1 on RPI4 System.

I start with new SD CARD and clean install with Balena Etcher

When i enter to the Mame Section, the Each game configuration is missed.

a lot of game need different configuration for each of us. And Now the only option that is available is configuration for all mame ROM.

and another problem, on the Batocera older version, alway on mame section, I could choose between 3 or 4 emulators and now there is only 2 emulateurs : mame 78 or 139, another mame and FBNEO are missing.

can you add the 2 missing emulators ?

Another little problem, and a splash video (at star of the Raspberry) the sound is sometimes 1 second late.

Do you have a date for the inegration of this emulator for RPI4:

- Sega model 2

- Sega model 3

Otherwise all other emulators work perfectly.:

Snes, Nes, N64, Neo geo, Dreamcast, Naomi, Atomiswave, Amstrad, GX400, PSX, Master system, Sega 32x, Megadrive, Game boy, Color, Advance,

Only PSP (Run Slow for few game ex: GOW)

yopsolo Since Batocera v31, we have changed the way arcade roms are handled. If you put roms in /mame/ you will select only the MAME versions available (78+ or 139 on RPi) and if you want to use FBNeo, you need to put the roms in /fbneo/, and then you’ll be able to select this emulator. The reason is that the romsets for FBN and MAME are now fairly different. You’ll have both MAME + FBN aggregated in the “Arcade” automatic collection.
Splash video should be easier to decode on RPi in the next beta.

Sega Model3 is only available for x86\_64, not on RPI4, and Model2 will probably never be available outside of x86\_64 as it’s a Windows emulator running through Wine.

I noticed the Apple2GS emulator being added, so I tried it out. It doesn’t work initially with the common .dsk files because the startup (boot) slot needs to be set to S6. I got it working by getting into the GS Control Panel (hold down ESC key then press Alt & Ctrl), and switching from “scan” to S6. After doing that, I needed to press F4 to get into the GSPlus Configuration screen to map where the Apple ROM file is located. Thanks for Batocera…its great!

coffeemike If you put Apple ][ (non GS) .dsk games into /apple2gs/ they should be automatically loaded as “S6”. I tried several of them without any issue. Which one doesn’t work for you?
Alternatively, we can make Batocera look for .dsk in /apple2/ as well, but the logic inside configgen is already coded.

Updated to the .32 beta 1 from my Batocera x64 .30.

At boot I didn’t get the display on my CRT screen. To fix it, I had to add in the /boot/batocera-boot.conf : es.resolution=640x480

Then I needed to type in the SSH console :

It seems my xrandr command lines in my /userdata/system/.xinitrc custom file are ignored ?!

In my /userdata/system/configs/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg I had to replace the /usr/lib/python2.7 string pattern by /usr/lib/python3.9.

Then I was able to start and play some Megadrive and Super Famicom games but I can’t run MAME roms with RetroArch and its libretro core.

In the es_launch_stderr.log file I found an error message :

Shaders for psx ,, lr- duckstion , swanstion dont seem to be sticking when there set in ES. they show up as .slangp in RA. maybe theres a file that’s not config properly .

Problem 1: My audio comes out of the internal speaker after upgrading to 32b1 and there are no HDMI outputs available in the menu. They are detected in Kodi, but no output works even in kodi.

Problem 2: PCSX2 options are not saved after modifying them. I seem to recall it was working fine before.

Problem 3: some windows games (super meat boy) don’t work anymore. It starts, then hangs after a second and returns to ES.

Tell me what additionnal information is needed.

Raspberry pi 4 8 GB model Batocera 32 dev 2021/09/03 17:18 all RetroArch emulators are slow to the point of being unplayable, not even an extreme (1950MHZ) overclock solves it

On Odroid N2+ with latest odroidn2 - 32-dev 2021/09/02 18:48 build

libretro/mame emulator does not load a single game…I tried the common games with the correct romset and nothing works. ….mame0139, libreto/mame078plus work fine

Boot splash on off doesn’t work at all…

Atomiswave racing games are not playableif you dont remap the controls in retroarch. I have to remap left digital(forced) to left digital…then it works….It should be fixed…On EMUelec it is all mapped for you…no need to tinker in retroarch at all…Considering your mission of making batocera as easy to use as possible…this needs to be fixed….

following games need to be remapped:

Atomiswave: Maximum Speed, Faster than Speed

Naomi : 18 Wheeler, Crazy Taxi, Jambo Safari, Monkey Ball, Zombie Revenge.

Jambo Safari needs extra tweaking….Make it so that pressing up on the right thumbstick throws the net and pressing down pulls it in….. right now it is mapped to the digital up and down buttons which makes it very cumbersome to throwing the net and steering at the same time.

I installed v31 (and, by following Batocera Nation’s video-guide, installed Steam) , then upgraded to v32b directly from Batocera itself.

Issue 1: While Steam is running as expected, I am unsuccessful getting Steam games to show up in Batocera directly:

find: /userdata/saves/flatpak/data/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.local/share/applications: No such file or directory

Issue 2: Unrelated to Steam. The emulator configuration screens that are accessed via files>applications show heavy distortion/artifacts, making it next to impossible to navigate and do stuff like importing roms, updates, etc. v31 did not have this issue.

new beta updated for x86_64 to fix wine sound issues.

SEGA Model 2 : Absolutely no joystick control (using USB Xinput Joystick) . Am I the only one to experience this problem ?
Wine : graphics artifacts when launching a Game, particulary when displaying the blue screen while building the game environment). This can affect the in-game display of some old games making artifact appear when graphics are moving . Already present in previous v32, It was not present in v31.

Yeah, the issue is kind of weird and hard to describe, but the 2 pictures below should be clear enough. This behaviour only started after the upgrade to v32. On v31, everything was okay. The wavy pattern is only due taking photo’s of the screen. The actual issue itself is most prevalent on the “Select game folder” window in example 2.
