HDMI audio skipping when in Yabause or Desmune

Yeah, the title says it all, I have an old machine, with a PCI-e card and I’m outputting image and sound through HDMI, to a Receiver (Yamaha) and then to TV (LG). It’s working fine but if I open some Saturn or DS game, the audio begin to skip, my receiver stats to say it’s off and the audio starts to turn on and off, very quickly.

It doesn’t happens in other systems, only on those 2. The audio is working on every system, but on those 2 this problem happens.

Can anyone help me on this? Thanks!

PS: Desmume, not Desmune. :)

Tried 2 different GPUs, the Quadro 600 and a GT 630. Besides GT 630 is on the Nvidia support list, both GPUs won’t work with Nvidia acceleration.

And the problem happens on both video cards.

Really, please, help me on that.

Nvidia is pretty bad at actually reported the cards that are actually supported by their drivers. I believe GT 600 series was legacy’d a while back.

Atari ok, I get that, even if the GT 630 is on the supported list, Nvidia is messy (to say the least) and don’t update the list.

But I’m still having the problem with stuttering when playing Saturn games. Btw, the problem only occurs when I’m playing 3D games, Virtua Fighter 2 is affected, Marvel vs. Street Fighter isn’t. This is really bizarre…

Have you tried out the legacy driver build I linked you to? If you have a spare USB you can temporarily flash it to that just for testing.
