Unable to find WiFi networks.

Fresh and latest on Pi4. Can’t get Wifi Networks to be found. New to this and switch over from RetroPi. I did try manual input, won’t connect to anything....

Is the wifi connection in the upper right showing up? You might try disabling the wifi, closing out of menus, then go back into menus re-enable it, and close out again. Then go back and set it up.

I’ve got the same issue. Just downloaded v32 and installed on a RPi 4 4GB. I’ve found on other Batocera systems that the wifi usually needs toggling on/off a couple of times for it to work (and show the wifi icon), but I’ve toggled it a bunch of times and am still getting nothing.

I’ll probably have to downgrade to v31 to see if that solves it, which is a shame as v32 has a bunch of good additions.

OK, seems the wifi icon doesn’t appear until you’ve put the wifi details in there. Though I think I had looked in the SSID section previously and there was nothing there.

I had connected via Ethernet for a bit; not sure if that gave anything a nudge.

same problem for me. Impossible to connect to any wifi. I try this editing batocera.conf, turn off and on wifi settings in menu, and one time was see my wifi and connect, but when reboot same problem, don´t find any wifi network.

Hi, I have a Pi4 8GB and have the same problem, I just enable wifi and do a restart. Works every time.

After restart I go back to wifi and every avalable wifi is shown.

Same here…rpi4, batocera 32, no wifi networks found. No solutions yet?

i’ve seen that if you use an usb ssd or hdd for the os, you don’t have the wifi (electricity problem) The os form raspbery transfer power for the hdd and sdd.

Pi4 2GB – ran into the same issue. Enabling wifi and then a full restart resolved it.

can confirm that is what i do also. turn wifi on. then reboot. then go back to wifi settings and all is good.

I have the same problem here, (Raspberry pi 4 model B 2GB variant) but I did have it working a couple times

it worked for a little while , a few reboots and still working , then not working for weeks no matter how many times I reboot, then I

went out and bought the official power supply and it worked again, I thought ok maybe that was the problem

rebooted like 6 times , still working all good, come back a couple of days later and no wifi again, will not connect

this must be a software issue or it is just that the rpi 4 is a complete POS

completely unreliable , either due to the buggy batocera OS or crappy hardware, (pi 4) not sure which one it is but this is definitely an issue and I see a lot of other people like me with no answers , the problem is not being addressed

though mine does work sometimes, just when you think you got it fixed it will not work again for weeks for seemingly no reason at all.

The tinker board is frozen with the micro usb connector.

I connected the power supply to the PIO port and since then it has been stable (~3,5year).

I have the batocera on an asus tinker board and the wifi doesn’t work.

It doesn’t see a Wi-Fi network and it doesn’t connect when I type it in.

The Lan is working.

WiFi worked on the device with Android and Debian.

Same problem with v35 on RB PI 4 Model B 8 GB. No connection.

Basically, Batocera is quite unstable at all. With unexplainable crashes. I was going to set up Raspberry as an emulator-station and media center without much hassle…
