Batocera working booting on SD on XU4, but emmc does not work

I have google a lot to find a solution to this issue and seen in other posts (with no solutions apparently) to use the emmc to boot and play with Batocera.linux on the odroidxu4. Some posts just states to use balena etcher for flashing on the emmc the img, others to change or modify the boot.ini (that I cannot find in any partitions which is burnt on the memory card -either the ssd or a emmc). It simply does not boot from the emmc, the odroidxu4 starts as there was no os to boot.

I would kindly appreciate to know if there is a solution to this problem or if simply it is not supported the emmc for the XU4…

jokeyth I had very similar issues earlier in the year, unable to boot Batocera on eMMC / XU4Q. I tried everything I could, but the solution is beyond my abilities. If you find a solution, I’d be interested to know. Best wishes!

If you work out how to do so successfully, please let me know so I can add it to the wiki. I’m not too familiar in this field myself.
