I added batocera to PINN (a fork of NOOBS) and internal Batocera updates break it due to the cmdline.txt being replaced with the file from boot.tar.xz.
A fix would be to add cmdline.txt to BOOTFILES="config.txt recalbox-boot.conf" in recalbox-upgrade.sh
