I have a problem with running Batocera on my Intel NUC 6i5SYH. I have Batocera on external HDD drive (Maxtor 1TB) connected to above mentioned Windows mini PC. When I start Batocera almost immediately (in the Batocera main menu) the fan of the PC goes to 100% and the cpu temperature rises to 100C. When I go into “F1” or start a retro game the temperature lowers and the fan goes at least more silent. I also notice the FPS in main menu is cca between 500 and 700. I tried to change the system.cpu.governor setting in batocera.conf file from “performance” to “ondemand” and “powersave” but no effect. With Batocera running on various handhelds it is very strange to me that the Batocera main menu overloads the cpu. What may be the cause or better how can it be fixed? Please Help!
