Launch Game transition

Hello;

I would want to know how to disable the annoying zoomed picture from the game cover when launching a game. I just want every single thing in Batocera with a fade in / out to black, nothing more nothing less. I’ve set the Game Launch Transition option within the UI Settings to FADE, but it seems impossible to get rid of that ugly picture nevertheless. I specify I don’t want ANYTHING to be shown, not even the Batocera logo, I just want a fade out effect.

Now, please, tell me what I have to configure / tweak to accomplish that.

Yeah, I found the right option hours later when I just started to change everything randomly. Hide when running a game is the one to enable in order to disable the picture, and the game launch transition I set it to fade, as it is what I wanted.

nobitakun Thank you! I’ll try that! It was like that before (maybe v30 or earlier).

The current effect it’s not awful, it’s kind of cool in some way, but something looks off for me… Just a fede looks cleaner.

Edit: Ah OK! I see it now! So that option (that I saw a thousands of times and never kew at what was refering to 🙄) turn off the picture of the game at full screen, and that was what it looked off to me when conbined with the effect. Now the zoomed picture effect looks as it should! 😃 Thank you!
