v32 - Aya Neo Handheld - triggerhappy setup

Hi :)

I am trying to make the power button run /usr/sbin/pm-suspend-hybrid. I created a /userdata/system/configs/multimedia_keys.conf with the following line:

KEY_POWER 1 /usr/sbin/pm-suspend-hybrid

Now I know the command /usr/sbin/pm-suspend-hybrid works (tested using SSH) but every time I hit the power button the console says that the system is shutting down: The system is going down for system halt NOW!

So I am probably doing something wrong but I am unable to find where this command is from and how to override or comment it out.

Any idea? Thank you :)

Aswering my own question as I think I found the solution.

I had to update /etc/acpi/events/powerbtn to this

event=button[ /]power
action=/usr/sbin/pm-suspend-hybrid

Then batocera-save-overlay and reboot. Now the power button does suspend the handheld.

So either triggerhappy cannot override these commands, or there’s a bug in my multimedia_keys.conf file.

But at least now I can have the handheld go in sleep mode :)

Also, please note that the Wiki seems to be only editable by the Batocera team, so I cannot add this fix in it :)
