joinski jorgecaleb Usually you should just use “Configure A Controller” under Controller Settings in EmulationStation to map the buttons of your pad.

joinski jorgecaleb which older versions? i use batocera since several years and my pad (ps3 controller) always worked in ps2 without the need to map it in the pcsx2-config seperately. what kind of pad do you have?
jorgecaleb joinski a thrust master mini and worked fine in v31 and before. I’ll try then without mapping in the specific ps2 menu
Atari jorgecaleb effectively, you might want to undo any manual configuration you have done to pcsx2 in the meanwhile. Check your system/config/pcsx2 folder for any files and clear any overlays you may have saved to avoid conflicts.
