Hello everyone. I wanted to ask about a solution as well since I’m getting the same issue whenever I try pressing f1 on my mini PC while on Batocera.
My pc setup is the Super Console X PC Supreme from Kinhank.
Specs: CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1545M v5
GPU: Intel Iris P580
RAM: 8 GB @ 2400 Mhz
Storage: 128 GB SSD for Windows 10 + 2 TB HDD for the batocera system (with about 63k games).
The external monitor I’m using is Hori HD universal monitor, which has its own audio output.
And lastly, I have the Batocera v33 (stable).
So, what should I do? Do I have to alter something in the files related to Batocera which are accessible from Windows? Or should I plug an external audio output device? (Since there is no sound despite the fact the monitor’s audio is working perfectly fine while in Windows 10 mode).
Honestly, I’m at a loss! I’vr recently got the device and am quite happy with it, but this issue is very irritating. That’s beside the fact that there are many other ways to get the Batocera system to freeze!! (Like opening, closing, and then opening the developer settings menu).
I would really appreciate any help.
N.B.I’m relatively new to linux, so please bare in mind my virtually none existing experience with this OS.
Update: I tried my usb speakers, and it didn’t make any difference. Still no sound. This is really unbelievable!!
Loading games, seaching and scrolling, and almost anything I do freezes the system. I didn’t know Batocera was this much crashy… Honestly, I’m utterly speechless. I’ve only bought the system to enjoy some retro games, not to solve the millenium puzzle.
Apologies for the naggy tone, but I didn’t expect this, and it’s hard when you feel like you have wasted so much money for nothing…
