Atari

I have made a repository for the media created specifically for Batocera, with links to the equivalents in the source code where possible. With this, you can much more easily create Batocera-themed custom splash images, videos, banners, etc. Contributions are open: https://github.com/Hew-ux/batocera-assets

There’s also an archive folder for all the stuff that’s since been retired from Batocera (if you were a fan of the old menu music, for instance).

Hey Atari! Great initiative! If you are interested, I can give you some decorations/bezels I collected from the internet that I “adapted” for Batocera (adding the inf file), some mp3 from mini-consoles menus, and a flat version of crt-lottes.slang shader that looks really good (no curvature and no bloom effect).

Maybe you can add those in a [Custom] section or something like that to know that those are not from official releases.

Any “source” files for media that has been created for Batocera is definitely a welcome addition! Feel free to either submit a PR to that repository, or if you aren’t familiar with Github just send them to me in a private message on the Batocera Discord.

If it’s a media that’s been used for a custom distribution of Batocera I wouldn’t feel as comfortable with that, it would be best to ask the creator of that distribution what they would like done with it instead.
