Battery Level Status for PS5 DualSense

Hello everyone and an extra thank you to all of you developers of Batocera. I have just switched to Batocera from both RetroPie and Recalbox. I have invested in a fairly modern computer (AMD Ryzen 7 5800X & RTX 3060). I also bought a PS5 DualSense controller and an Bluetooth Adapter (Asus USB-BT500). The pairing process of my PS5 DualSense worked perfectly right away, and all the buttons work as they should in Batocera.

Now to my question:
I can’t see the battery level for my PS5 DualSense in the top left corner that I see in several YouTube videos that they have. I have both “Show Controller Activity” and “Show Controller Battery Level” enabled.

I can see an icon for my controller and it flashes during activity, but no battery level is shown. This is not important of course, but would have been extremely useful to have. What could be wrong? Is it so simple that battery level status is not supported for PS5 DualSense in Batocera? Can anyone confirm that in that case?

H2SO4JB I believe this is simply not supported for DS5 yet. Ordinary Bluetooth controllers like 8bitdo’s work fine.
In due time, battery level should be supported for DS5 as well. It’s not really something in our control, but in control of the kernels we use.
