Lame question about Wii emu

Hi everyone 🙂

Just wondering, I'm using batocera on my x64 computer, I understand that the emulation partition with roms must be fat32? If so, how could we play Wii Isos considering all images are 4.3GB size, and therefore can't be copied into a fat32 partition?

ravenland Not really a lame question if you think about it. I'm under the impression that Wii ISOs generated from a single-layer disc that have been "scrubbed" will be smaller than 4GB (most, but not all).

I'd imagine that the developer will need to eventually move to exFAT or ext2/3/4 for ROM storage as the project expands into Wii support and beyond.

the data partition for the roms is ext4

yes, ext4 is really recommanded and this is the format of the internal partition.
exfat is supported for external devices.
