multi-disc games with duckstation

I’m trying to play multi-disc playstation games with duckstation. My .m3u files look like this:

Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 1).CD1
Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 2).CD2
Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 3).CD3
Legend of Dragoon, The (USA) (Disc 4).CD4

This works with pcsx-rearmed, but not with duckstation. what am I doing wrong?

.CD1 is an extremely weird file extension. What file types are they?

That method is the old method. So it may not be recognized by duckstation.

It was devised so that the cue and m3u files are not displayed in duplicate.
