sniper225 Hi Guys, definitely a newbie question. I downloaded image from retropunks based on batocera. Image was 128gb but my SD is 200gb. So I upon boot up I don’t have full capacity in share and im missing round about 65gb storage which not accessible to the system. How to resize partition? I have checked if autoresize=true is uncommented in batocera-boot.conf . It was and nothing happened after reboot. I also reflash SD several times just in case and check every time if its uncommented. Then I googled that is possible to do it via raspbian commands raspi-config : expand_rootfs but not able to figure out how to access raspbian system via SSH. Thanks for advice
Atari I downloaded image from retropunks You should probably ask retropunks about this, not Batocera. There are unknown modifications that could have been made to unofficial images like that.
sniper225 Yeah, ok I asked in parallel, but assuming it is just an image of 128gb sd with unmodified batocera on it. How to in general handle this resizing issue if you use 200gb SD, any thoughts?
Atari sniper225 Fair enough. All I can say is that when you boot up the official Batocera image for the first time, it will auto-expand to fill the available free space.
mikakunin There can be no such large-capacity image in the official image. It is much faster and safer to back up your batocera data as a normal copy and then copy it from the backup after normal installation, rather than image it and change the partition.
