Xbox 360 controller not working with wii games

Hello, i want to use my xbox 360 controller playing wii games, however mapping settings i set in dolphin emulator are not working when trying to run the games through interface. I have to press f1 and run them directly from dolphin in order to be able to use my controller. Any suggestions how to fix that? Tnx.

The simplest way is to configure your controller in ES as you normally do, and set “EMULATE WIIMOTE” in the advanced system settings to a profile appropriate to the game.
Without this option, it will assume you want to use a GameCube/classic controller, which most games aren’t actually compatible with. Check the list to see if your game is on there or not.

Yes did that however the settings didnt work within Batocera, it worked only if i pressed f1 and ran the game directly with Dolphin, however after hours of trying i managed to fix this. Just added some lines in the editor.

Huu dude… could you post how? I’m stuck and I can’t use my gamepad as nunchuck + wiimote in batocera but can using the Dolphin menu (F1). What did you do? What is the config?

I think he did that. The controls option with brackets is important. You must select wiimote source and profile as displayed. The profile name is the one your created in Dolphin.
