Drag and Drop?

Ok so since I will be using a larger HDD for Batocera and the roms directory. is it possible to hook up my Batocera drive in and external HDD case and plug it into my windows based machine and simply drag and drop my rom files in there respective game directories, or am I forced to do the USB thumb drive or FTP nonsense to move my roms?

kaos731 Sure, if you formatted the drive to a Windows-readable filesystem then that should be no issues.
But, if you’re asking this, you probably did not. In which case, your options are to use Batocera’s built-in file manager to transfer the files (this is the simplest approach) https://wiki.batocera.org/built_file_manager , use the command line or “do the USB thumb drive or FTP nonsense”.
