Hello,
First of all, sorry for my English, but I’m French and I go through Google Translate to post this message ^^
I have a problem with the sound on Batocera, here is my configuration
- Batocera 32 X86X64 installed on the internal hard drive of my computer
- My computer is an HP 800 G5 Mini :
- LG television
- My computer is connected via HDMI to the TV
My problem is that I can’t get the sound to output to the TV, at best the sound comes out of the built-in speakers of the computer, in the worst case nothing happens.
- I tried all possible configurations between the Audio outputs and the Audio profiles, but nothing helped, sound on the PC speakers or no sound.
- I tried several HDMI sockets on the television, but nothing helped, sound from the PC speakers or no sound.
- I tested several different HDMI cables, but nothing helped, sound on the PC speakers or no sound.
- I tested via Kodi from Batocera, but nothing helped, sound on the PC speakers or no sound.

On the other hand, I installed Windows 10 on this same PC and the sound comes out well from the television without specific settings, I installed RetroArch from Windows 10 but I don’t have sound only in RetroArch or the sound comes out of the speakers from the pc but nothing from the television.
I think there must be a compatibility issue between my hardware and Batocera and / or Retroarch.
I tested different tips that I found on the forum but it doesn’t work.
I think the ultimate solution will be to put a pair of speakers on the jack of my computer, unfortunately I do not see other solutions :(
