Bad performance with Kaby Lake

Hello, i have heavy performance problems with Batocera 5.9 and my KabyLake-CPU.
It´s the i5 7500.
On Debian all works very well, like wii, gamecube, pcsx2 and dreamcast.
But in Batocera only works dreamcast and gamecube well.

I think the problem is the old 4.9 Kernel from Batocera? Is this possible?

On my Notebook with older and weaker CPU (i7 4510U) Batocera run wii and the others well too.

Any other ideas?

i guess more in gpu performances.
do you use the nvidia/ati drivers on your debian ?
on batocera, the open drivers are used.

I use the integrated gpu.
On my notebook too. And on my laptop with older and slower cpu/gpu (igpu too) batocera (gamecube/wii) run very better.

On Debian with the i5 7500 with free drivers and igpu wii and pcsx2 run very smooth.

i've not put an up to date kernel in the next release.
but yes, maybe it could be the cause.
i may try to do a test version to confirm for you.
