Shadow PC - Batocera install success

À friend gave me a Shadow PC unit because he stopped subscription

I decided to test it with the last Batocera x86-64 image and working without any mod or change

I just need to replace the original micro SD with a new one

The specs

First test are really not bad

The default config is 4gb ddr4 1.2v and have a poor video quality (splash video is lagging)

Also ethernet port very poor performance

I think upgrade to 8 or 16gb will give a better performance

Moreover, motherboard have a M-SATA slot so I can add Wi-Fi - Bluethoot or SSD

I think the best way will be SSD because I can use one 3.0 USB port for dongle

Question :how can I add pictures?

Changed memory and upgraded to 16gb DDR4

Motherboard downcloacked memory speed from 2600 to 2100mhz

Access to the BIOS work with keyboard as all usual computer

Setting BIOS for a full UEFI is possible and make better the screen (it’s weird default Shadow don’t use it)

for the micro SD slot, you can change in the BIOS the method (don’t remember now)

Motherboard have 2 M-SATA slots so i can have both wifi-bluethoot and SSD drive
