Controller mapping and Wii + Nunchuck

Hi guys,

I’m trying to use a 8bitdo Sn30 Pro controller to emulate a WIImote+Nunchuck controller in batocera. If I map my things using the Dolphin Menu and launch my game, it works.

However, NOTHING works in batocera. I can emulate a normal vertical Wii controller and some adaptors but not a WiiMote + Nunchuck combo. I checked the wiki and I guess im missing something as nothing works. My game is Mario Striker Charged.

My rom name is mariostrikercharged.wbfs

Here is what I tried:

-Renaming to rom to mariostikercharged.ni.wbfs didn’t work.

-Creating mariostrikercharged.wbfs.cfg didn’t work. I mapped all my keys…I think .

-Copying my Dolphin profile content to mariostrikerchargeg.wbfs.cfg didn’t work.

-Creating a controller profile in Dolphin didn’t work.

-Tried to set a profile per game inside dolphin but as soon as I leave Dolphin, the settings don’t seem to apply to Batocera.

I have been struggling for 3 full days to make this work… is it even possible?

I FUCKING GOT IT GUYS!!!!

Allright if you guys wanna use a wiimote / nunchuck combo inside batocera here is what you must do

first it works ONLY per game so far

1- Go into dolphin menu (f1)

2- Create a profile for your controller under emulated wiimote, choose nuncheck extion, map your controls like usual. Save your profile

3- Now right click the game you want your controller to use in the list click property

4-Click on editor and you should have something like a black space to enter command. Enter this:

What is important is the controls part WITH BRACKETS
WiimoteSource0=1
and the WiimoteProfile1 = nameofyourprofil
Now in batocera, when selecting the game leave your finger on the A button and a menu for the game will show up
Searching for custom profile must be on
everything else at auto and VOILA
