Wifi turns on every time!

I’m just curious, Wifi turns on alone almost every time I power on the system.

I want it off to save a little battery. Any ideas? I’m on Batocera 30 but I think it also happens on latests versions (which I’m not using due to lower performance).

It should just be a flag in batocera.conf. It turns off when you turn off the setting in the network settings inside of ES. Is it possible that this file is not being properly written to?

Anyway I’ve found a workaround: Manual editing the name of my SSID by simply deleting the last digit, then turn wifi off.
To get wifi back I simply add that last digit of my SSID again.

That is weird, I would recommend reporting this bug to the Github so it can be investigated further. Oh, but do make sure that you’re on the latest Batocera version as it may have already been fixed.
