8/16bit system

Hi, sorry complete’ish noob, I’m in the process of creating a multi 8bit system and then the same for 16bit, I know the Pi can handle it all, but eventually I want them in custom housing, for a few days now I’ve been trying to use Recalbox, but no matter how much I try I cant remove systems I don’t want… I don’t want to display any consoles, only the 8 or 16bit emulators. Can this be done easily with Batocera? for info once I’ve got the basics done I’d love to make the emulators boot into Dos or Basic and then have to load the games from a drive location. but thats in future, for the time being loading them from the emulator menu is enough. will all Recalbox emulators work on Batocera? more obscure ones like Oric, Camputers Lynx and Elan enterprise etc.

Batocera (and Recalbox too, for that manner) only shows the systems for which you have ROMs installed for. There are a few ROMs that come with a fresh installation of Batocera which you can remove manually. Once a system has no ROMs in its folder, it will disappear from the system list on the next reboot.

Atari Thats what they say :) Recalbox still displays the systems after reboot, and there seems to be embedded games in some, so even when no games in the rom folder the display still shows games, I know if I delete the folder completely its rebuilt

OEATheBear Well all I can say is that it works the way I described for Batocera.
