Philips CD-i - Any success?

I’m not having any luck getting these ROMS to start. I have the required cdimono1.zip. I’ve even unzipped it and put both in the BIOS folders for safe measures. Still it seems to start by going to black screen and then pops back to menu. Any advice?

Same here.

I put the bios in the bios folder and even in the rom folder to test. I tried adjusting some of the diff system settings and it flashes black and pauses like its trying to load up but doesnt.

Tried rom in CHD and ISO format. No go.

I thoughts its possible its a hardware issue as on my Lenovo the yabasanshiro core for Saturn never worked either

Ive seen a ytber comment on that too,for certain PC’s/hardware maybe.Not sure.

So for Saturn I gotta use Beetle.Kronos runs slow but Beetle works just fine unfortunately it doesnt have upscale option though.

Got it working.

Well,some games simply wont work though.

But yeah,you do need the cdimono1 bios,in the bios folder.And thats it.

But the bios zip should have 5 files inside,3 numbered roms,a slave and servo rom.

Thanks fonzi! I found the zip with 5 files in it. The one I had only had the 3 which does not work. As you say there are several that do not work. I either get a need more memory error or that a Digital Video Cartridge is needed. But at least this gets me up and running.

Yeah,I only tested a handful of games so far but already got that digital video cartridge message.

Wonder if there is a fix for that.

pour certains jeux il nous faut la carte vidéo (genre Dragon’s lair) pour que les jeux se lancent
peut-on espérer qu’une mise à jour vers la version V34 règle ce problème
