change resolution 1280x800 for 1024x768.

I'm trying to install the "batoceta" in a notebook and it is not detecting the native resolution of the screen. it starts at 1280x800 and my screen does not support it. I wanted to know how do I change to 1024x768 resolution.

you need to create a ~/.xinitrc, copy it from /etc/X11/xinitrc, and modify it
by adding a like like
xrandr -s 1024x768

Line 171, change global.videomode=CEA 1 HDMI by global.videomode=DMT 16 HDMI

Then run this command PATH=$PATH:/usr/sbin /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-save-overlay.sh

And reboot
