Automatically changing order of controllers after plugging one in

Hi!

First of all: Thanks for all your work - Batocera is great and works perfectly! I still have one question, I’d be happy if anybody can help.

I built a tabletop-arcade (Rpi4) with arcade-controlls for 2 players, which are permanently connected to the system.

I also built 4 USB-plugs in the front, so a player is able to play games with more accurate controllers for the specific systems. So when somebody plays eg. Super Mario on NES, he plugs in a NES-like controller and can play the game via this controller. This worked perfectly on RetroPie.

I guess, what I want to achieve that is that - if a controller is plugged in - it automatically becomes the first controller in the order and the arcade-controllers move to the next positions.

Is that somehow possible? I didn’t find anything about that.

You set the player order in the controller settings.
eg. if you want the NES controller to always take priority over the arcade top controls, set that controller as Player 1’s controller.
