Can not set controller in pcsx2-config

I‘m using the latest batocera version 33 20220203.

Everything good except two problems on PS2 joystick:

No vibration
Analog stick does not work in some game like DOA2

Then I tried to set controller buttons in pcsx2-config, all joystick buttons can not be detected in pcsx2-config. No such issue when back to ES and in games.

It’ xbox360 wired joystick. I’ve also tested other usb controllers but none can be set in pcsx2-config

Vibration and analog stick is working fine for me (I too am using a wired Xbox 360 controller), but I haven’t tested DOA 2 specifically.

Have you made any alterations to PCSX2’s configuration? If so, try deleting the PCSX2 folder from /userdata/system/configs to reset it.

No alteration was made on pcsx2. I’m not sure the analog issue only occurs in DOA2. In another ps2 game shinobi analog stick works fine.

All buttons still can’t be detected in pcsx2 after deleting folder. Seems pcsx2 does not recognize the joystick but strangely it vibrates when checked in controller setting.

forcom You’re using pcsx2’s menu to configure controllers? Don’t do that, Batocera takes care of it automatically.

Yes, it’s in pcsx2’s menu. I’ve tested other games, the viberation status cannot be saved. I have to check if it works in pcsx2 after system boot.

Considering left analog issue, only DOA2 has it. Perhaps it’s due to the game itself
