I installed my Odroid N2+ in an arcade cabinet with a 2 players setup.
The arcade controls are controlled by two SJ@JX CY-822C “zero delay” usb encoders (one for each player setup), both separately connected via USB to the Odroid.
The buttons and joysticks are seen by Batocera (latest beta build 34.xx) but there’s a serious mixup when I try to start a game. Some games are only playable with the Player 2 controls, and there’re other strange behaviors here and there I can’t fix (Player 1 Start doesn’t react for example).
This seems to be quite a common issue with almost every linux based emulation system as far as I can see on the internet for years now.
So what are your recommendations? Is a Two Players Ipac controller card worth a try? That would involve a lot of (irreversible) modifications in the wiring, so I won’t just try it out without knowing if that will help with my problem.
Thereby, I also saw some similar issues with the Ipac card too.
Help! 😓
