Radeon 530 is not detected on laptop

Got Batocera v33 installed on lenovo laptop with hybrid i5 7200u + radeon 530 video (and bios system password lost btw) . Looked at system info - only Intel HD620 is detected, and no sign of radeon.

Would be grateful for piece of advice to fix it and use Radeon

Try the radeon-prime flag in the batocera-boot file.
Otherwise, it could be that your BIOS has disabled the Radeon GPU. If you cannot access that to check, RIP.
Might want to contact AMD about it.

Atari Hello. In my hp 800 g2 i have 2 gpu. Internal intel hd 530 and external rx550(riser pci). I enable radeon-prime in batocera-boot, but in the system information is still intel hd graphics. I cant disable internal gpu in bios settings. Option not exists. Is there any solution to this problem? Thanks.

Krina If you have a regular computer you do not need to use the prime switcher to use your GPU.

The more likely scenario is that the card is not being detected at all, try reseating it.

Atari if i don’t use radeon-prime there is a black screen after loading syslist. My radeon rx550 is visible in pcsx2, cemu. It is used in emulation, but in es it is intel hd, as soon as the ES is loaded, the cpu temperature reaches 80, the fan runs at full speed. Something is consuming the CPU or GPU. When i press f1, the temperature drops. When I go back to ES it grows again. Is there a way to disable intel gpu?

You could try turning on the power saving mode in order to prevent ES from drawing frames while idle.

It sounds like you just have thermal issues though, have you checked your thermal paste recently?
