Is Batocera works with Odroid XU3 ?

I try from eMMC & SSD (with eMMC plug) & SSD (without eMMC - In this case Odroid just not launch. Red LED is fix). Blue LED flashing but after 15 minutes I've no output on my screen.

I faced similar issue with XU4 microsd, stayed forever on the logo screen (http://batocera-linux.xorhub.com/forum/d/73-installs-forever-and-sd-card-becomes-readonly-happened-2-times/)
after rebooting manually the SD was corrupt (partitions incorrect and RO folders, lots of I/O errors, impossible to format - happened twice on 2 different new cards)
does your SSD still work ?
I am afraid there is a glitch in the XUx formatting process

xu3 and xu4 are almost the same. the img is supposed to work on both.
works for me at least. so, it's hard to tell wha'ts wrong.
perhaps you can tweek the boot.ini by removing the loglevel=0, etc. (don't remember exactly what is to change), to see at which step it's blocking.

I try many different kind of download (from computer / seedbox / with chrome, filezilla, low brandwith, etc..)/copy (etcher / win32 / etc..) .img on eMMC, and now it's works.

Thinks low brandwith help, because many times before I've corrupted file when opened .gz.

Hope this can help someone.

On my XU4,

I have a blank screen with emmc 32 G linux && micro SD 64G batocera 5.8.
- led blue blink's normaly.

When i remove the emmc, it's ok.

compatibility issue ??

If you are running batocera from micro sd card while emmc is plugged in, you must change boot partition within boot.ini file mmcblk0p? to mmcblk1p? (can't remember if p was 1 or or, but its that blk part you need to alter) ; then you can run batocera from sd while emmc is plugged in.

change to

Default boot argument

setenv bootrootfs "dev=/dev/mmcblk1p1"

The Odroid boots and works very well !
