Best version for old laptop 64bit

good night friends. I’m new to the forum, this is my first post. If I’m doing something wrong, please forgive me.

I have a little experience with recalbox, and now I want to migrate to batocera. I have an old laptop. it has a dualcore T4400 2.2ghz 64bit and a VGA GEFORCE 9100M G. I would like your help to find the best version of batocera for my laptop, which preferably supports NVIDIA legacy drivers 340.xx or has how to install it.

I want install in a internal hard drive.

Batocera 5.25 is usually the go-to for really old hardware.

with 5.25 would I notice much of a difference?

for old hardware (more than 10 years) 5.27 is the way…. (nvidia legacy drivers)
