mrseguin Does anybody tried Batocera linux on gpd win ? I tried once and maybe because of the fact its a screen phone rotated batocera doesn't load. A shame because Batocera is fully portable with its own system🙂
oomighoo mrseguin salut, as-tu essayé de passer par le bios pour booter directement sur ta clé USB ? Tes tests m'intéressent. Tiens moi au courant s'il te plaît😉
mrseguin oomighoo I tested batocera 5.14 and 5.15 on my gpd win and it boots quickly 🙂 The only problem of course is the screen that is on portrait mode and so when we launch a game its also on portrait mode...But it works🙂 So i'm not a tech at all but it looks like batocera made a big step with the gpd win 🙂
Marcale48273063 First download your batocera version and extract it then download rufus https://rufus.akeo.ie then take à 4gb USB stick and make à bootable USB whit rufus whit the batocera image when thats done boot the gpd win on the usb when thats done enable the wifi and entre your wifi name and password then go to the system and install it on the gpd win hard drive note that will delete all on the disk and voilà batocera on gpd win on hard drive
coutinho1987 I have a gpd win too, I wanted so much that I would leave a version of batocera 100% compatible, I am also reporting the incompatibility with it, I hope the developers of attention and work on a version for our gpd win ...
oomighoo It's easy to change screenmode with the command line "xrandr". Go tout see it on a the french wiki. If you have any difficult, i'll help you. Bye
FoxHoundRA64 oomighoo I know I am very late, but I your link is dead and I wanna run Barocera on my Win and I wanna have it use the whole screen! Let me know if you can find it again :) Thx
marlon_tx hello, try installing batocera on my gpd win1, but I can not get it started. the blue start screen of batocera appears but it does not change to the white one, it remains in a black screen and it hangs. any solution? many thanks.
oomighoo FoxHoundRA64 Hello, I revive the topic: have you tried version 34 on a GPD WIN because there is a way to adjust the screen rotation directly in the menus (thanks to the developers)
jlpotocki I have tried to boot x86_64 Version 35 via USB and it froze the system up (usb works fine on other PCs.) I may try to use the older x86 version. I want the flatpak option to install a browser, but it’s not listed as “compatible” on the 32bit version.
