Hi,
New to bactocera, using newest stable build on a x64 PC with a Geforce 2060.
I cannot seem to find a way to directly set a shader in retroarch when playing, save it as core preset and have the shaders settings persists when I exit and restart the game.
Have tried setting the shaders for the system outside as “none” or “auto”, issue persists for both.
Is there a way to do this (without editing cfg manually) or its just not allowed in Batocera?
Scenario:
- Load a game, for an example an NDS game with system shader set to “None” or “Auto”
- Press hotkey to open retroarch menu, go quick menu-> shaders and load any shader (e.g HQ2X).
- Apply it and save as core preset, confirm it is working in game
- Close the game and reopen it, shader chosen will be gone
- Same when testing with other games from the same system.
- Tried saving core override as well (though it should not affect shaders choice), no difference in result.
On a side note, GBA ’s color correction from core option (at least mgba) does not seems to be show any difference in output whether it is set to “On” or “Auto” for gba games, any idea why?
