Alvkhlor batecora linux (5.x and 33 version) not booting up at all, just black screen right after selecting usb stick. laptop is acer aspire 3 a314-22 cpu:athlon 3050u gpu:radeon 8gb ram
Atari It seems like that laptop is just incompatible with Linux in general: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/631030/linux-installation-error-on-acer-aspire-3-a314-22 User JoeDalton0033 has mentioned the following: Long story short, you just have to modify the grub command lines and it will work like a charm. Just replace “quiet splash” by “quiet splash nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=5500 ” and you are good to go ! You can find your boot commands available at /boot/EFI/BOOT/syslinux.cfg (or boot/boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg if you are legacy booting). Hopefully this should help out.
