Steam offline mode

I’m attempting to play my games in offline mode using Batocera 34. Steam allows me to enable the option, but when in offline mode none of my games boot. has anyone figured out how to get games to properly boot in offline mode? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

CRKFIEND If you want to use online DRM then I would logically believe that you need to be connected to the internet for that to work.
Steam’s offline mode is a temporary allowance which may not authenticate in the wine sandbox.
