Update interrupted - Can't boot

Hello,

I am in trouble! I have installed Batocera for the first time 1 month ago and started to curate all my list and added some roms I wanted, scraped missing content,… About a month of work. Then Yesterday I did the update from 33 to 34 and lost power while a message was still on screen, something like “mounting R/W”. Of course now it won’t boot. I can see flashing lights for maybe 2 seconds but I never get to the startup logo. I am also unable to SSH into the RPI

I there anything I can to salvage all my work?

Found a solution:

I plugged the sd-card in my Mac and could see the boot partition. I the followed the procedure hilighted here:

Upgrade from a local boot.tar.xz file

Not knowing if I was going to mess up things up, I did found a way to access the roms folder to manually backup my content. On Mac, install MacFuse+ext4fuse and it is then possible to manually mount the userdata partition. I could then copy them to a backup folder on my Mac
