chrisino Hi, I had Batocera running nicely on a dual boot libre elec/batocera setup. I updated batocera to the latest version, rebooted and I've got a black screen. Ive hopefully not lost my ROMs for the fifth time. Can anybody help.? Chris
nadenislamarre i guess that something was wrong with your dual boot configuration while it's not offically supported. i guess that some configuraiton you did about the dual boot have been broken by the dual boot.
dawiid7 nadenislamarre I have a black screen to from 5.9 version with fresh install of batocera. No problem with the 5.8 version... I can see logo of batocera Linux at start, but black screen just before the home menu (music work) Regards
angelus9151 I appreciate the quick response my problem is not a dual boot I don't have one for the arcade machine it's a single hard drive and thumb drive in a PC when I updated to 5.16 the screen went black after boots. The pc in a dell amd athlon x2 with a 1gig ATI videocard. If i put my copy of linux live or windows harddrive in it works something in the update broke for me i think. I have no way of finding out because no buttons work and the screen stays black also if I manually turn it off the little logo shows up in the top left. Thank you for any help that you may be able to offer
