Sega Model 2 issues

I’m using Batocera 34, and I’m trying to get Model 2 to work, but I’ve come across several issues:

1 - While Batocera is able to see my romset, none of them will start. Upon trying to start them, the system shows the game preview screen, but it bounces me back to the menu.

2 - Upon trying to go to Files with F1, and double-clicking the config application, nothing happens.
