genesisplus gx savestate

Hey all, I recently updated from 3.3 to 3.4 and all went smooth, but now I can’t savestate with genesisplus gx (regular, not ‘wide’) with megadrive games, it says ‘core does not support state’, but with mega cd it can savestates flawless. Both platforms (megadrive and megacd) have all setting by default, except for ‘blargg filter’ sets on RGB in boths platforms, but that’s all.

Is it possible the same emulator does not support states with differents supported platforms ? In pc got no problems.

This is a known bug. Nothing is being done about it. Abandon all hope. Cause mass panic in the streets.

Atari 😂😂😂 thanks for the answer. I’ll stick to picodrive for both platforms then. I only choose genesisgx for blargg option, but pico is very good option

Sorry, I’ll make that up. To be a bit more constructive, you could make a new issue report on https://github.com/batocera-linux/batocera.linux/issues , maybe that will get more dev attention than the reports on the Discord have.
