Actual situation:
Today, the option to play multi-players retro games is Netplay.
Because of the way it work, this solution have some limitations:
* Only work with some retro consoles
* Need the exact same version of the ROM and the core for every players
* Every players need to use the same architecture
The feature request:
Use a different technology, similar to what Parsec do but Free Software (Free as freedom).
For security reasons, only the images and sound from the game started would be shared with other players.
And their inputs would be only send to the started game.
With this solution, it will:
* Work with any games, even the ports
* Need the game and core only on host side
* Players can use different architectures and devices (Ex: Host on PC and guests on Ordoid Go Advance and Raspberry)
Best regards.
