NAOMI - 18 Wheeler - Steering not working

hey folks!

Is anyone experiencing steering problems with the game 18 Wheeler on Naomi?

I just installed it and from the menu it looks like the steering wheel works ok (i.e. you can make selections) but in-game even if you hold left/right the input is only registered as a single press, which makes the truck steer only by a tiny bit.

I’ve seen the same problem mentioned for RetroPie here . The solution I understood is to mess around with the digital/analog inputs of the game but none of the combinations I tried made it any better. I’ve also tried both a PS4 and a Xbox One controller.

You may need to remap the controls. Generally, these arcade emulators are tougher to use as each game requires its own special configuration, and most of the emulators are not mature enough to automatically sort this out for you.

It could also just be an emulation issue in general.

I couldn’t get the steering to work with this one whatever I tried. The Dreamcast version works fine though, so you can always use that version instead of Naomi.

Eric441 since I also tried what feels like every configuration made sense, will try to switch to Dreamcast. Thanks!
