V34 stopped saving hdmi and audio settings

Hello everyone,

I installed a Nvidia video card and now batocera doesnt save my hdmi output or audio settings once i shut it down. Kinda dont know where to begin with this.

Its v34 and the pc is a optiplex 5050 with a i5-7500, 24gb ram, and Nvidia gt1030 card. Batocera is running off a 1tb usb hard drive.

Worked great till I installed card.

Batocera will by design not forget any video or audio output you set in its menus. However, what can happen is that said audio or video output is physically not available to Batocera while the hardware is booting up, causing Batocera to fall back on “next available output”, with the expectation that said output device will be available on next boot.

This indicates an issue with your hardware. But understandably, this may not be fixable. As a workaround, you could try making a script which tries batocera-resolution setOutput <your working output> to your desired output at boot.
