Overclocking settings misaligned?

I just overclocked to 1425 (mild OC) via menu, but after reboot it went to 1500 MHz and temps skyrocketed to +12 Kelvin.

The raspberry pi 3 will actually overheat even on regular settings right now. It’s not because of the OC.

This has been an issue for years at this point. The solution: buy a heatsink. Or just downgrade to a much older version of Batocera. Or install Recalbox, they tend to focus on SBCs more than Batocera does.

Atari I have a heatsink on and temps stay way below 60 degrees. I am just wondering why it shows 1500 MHz (batocera-info) when I just chose 1425 MHz in menu.

naddel81 Now that is actually a problem. Maybe the label hasn’t been updated? Or maybe the overclock is indeed overshooting its target. I would suggest making this an issue report (though again it’s not likely the cause of overheating itself).
