I have Batocera on an external usb drive hooked up to an old Windows PC. In the PC I’m using an Asus GTX 1050 Ti 4GB and I connect the monitor to the DVI output. Sometimes, when I turn on the computer, the screen remains completely black. I can hear the music and everything from Batocera, I just can’t see anything. But this issue is intermittent. Most of the time, it works perfectly.
I’m not sure but it might have something to do with the combination of Batocera with the gpu. When I remove the usb drive and boot the Windows OS, it never seems to have this problem.
Any ideas? I’m considering buying a different gpu for this.
