Roms folder " Read Only "

I updated to the new beta firmware and now all the folders/files are read only when I connect thru the network, I’m running batocera on a win600

anyway to fix this?

This is a known issue in v35 beta 2.

From a user on discord:

If you want to make it work in the interim, edit

/etc/samba/smb.conf and add

force user = root

to the last section

and then run batocera-save-overlay and reboot

how do i go about finding this file to edit?

I was using the windows folder to connect instead of a proper connection e.g. Filezilla

timespawn you need to ssh in, as it won’t stick if don’t run batocera-save-overlay
