Hello,
I have the same problem at the first launch of Batocera on my NUC (and my desktop, Intel proc).
Material :
* Intel NUC - NUC6I3SYH
* 64gb USB flash drive
* HDMI screen
Notes about UEFI BIOS:
* Secure Bios Disabled
* Boots on Legacy disabled too.
Steps :
- With DISKPART, I deleted all that there was on the key (CLEAN cmd), then convert to GPT.
- I used balenaEtcher (same result with Rufus) to flash the image (batocera-x86_64-35-20220917.img) on the usb key.
- I deleted the automatically created 512mb partition. And recreated a 1 GB one (NTFS). When I keep the partition of 512mb, I have the same result.
- I place the key on the NUC and turn it on, choose the key… and wait for it to happen.
- I see the fixed Batocera logo, then it’s around the video splash.mp4 playing (with sound OK) and… black screen.
And last info, I’ve try (batocera-boot.conf) :
- nvidia-driver=true
- nvidia-driver=true & nvidia-prime=true
What’s even more frustrating is that Recalbox works (same steps).
