Hi there Nade,
Congratulations on your great distro.
This is one of the most refined retro-images I could find featuring Kodi 17 and non-libretro emulators such as Reicast 🙂
So I took a chance to built it from source for my XU4.
I built it from this commit: https://github.com/nadenislamarre/batocera.linux/commit/ed281ece6f6366cb52c48da35369ea990f3ab1fb
So I had to do some small changes to some headers due to my host featuring glibc 2.26 but overall the image completed without problems.
After flashing it to my Xu4, I paired my PS4 Bluetooth controller and transferred my Sonic Adventure 2 (pal) gdi image.
Now for Reicast both sound and graphics are perfect.
There's no glitches or awkward textures or anything.
Only thing I notice is some heavy frameskipping.
Basically it's like it's dropping 3 or more frames per second.
It doesn't matter whether I select 50Hz or 60Hz in the game.
However I remember the XU4 could play most dreamcast games (including Sonic Advanvure 2) smooth, because a few years ago I built Reicast as a standalone emulator on Ubuntu running on my XU4 and the frameskipping was not there.
So is this something I should configure somewhere?
