Batocera v35 PCSX2-config not working

Hello Guys

I´m having exactaly same issue that CaptainFlint85 had on this thread:

No matter what i do, could not manage to work Pcsx2 on batocera V35, i was wainting until batocera V31 (worked fine), all previous versions doesnt work, so now decide to report here.

Even if i go to F1 and try to execute directly thru aplication, when i click on pcsx2-config it does absolutely nothing.

The batocera bios check got everything fine, no missing bios.

I´m working on a Cab with 15khz Ati 6450 flashed, everything on batocera works fine even ppsspp and flycast, except with pcsx2 that does absolutely nothing.

Any help will be apreciated.

Does your CPU support AVX2 or SSE4?

mikakunin Hello. I have AMD with SSE4a. I have the same problem. pcsx2-config cannot be run

After looking into it, it was a requirement that SSE4.1 be supported (pcsx2 1.7).
So “amd phenom II X6 1100T” (sse4a) doesn’t seem to work.
Older versions with pcsx2 1.6, eg batocera 29, should work.
