V35 and 8bitdo pro

since i update my pi4 to v35 my 8bitdo pro Bluetooth controller doesn’t work. it will pair but no buttons work . i also have a non pro sn30 8bitdo which still works fine so i don’t know why the pro doesn’t work

I had the same problem. I had to switch them to x-Mode (Press X and Start together to start the controller, then press the pair button for 3 sec). After that it worked

worked like a charm. thanks. Strange it was only 1 of my 2 8bitdo controllers didn’t work tho, maybe my sn30 was already in x-mode

I have same issue with 8bitdo pro 2 - I can get it to pair (sometimes) but even when connected it doesn’t show up in list of controllers ?

Have tried with X S and D settings.

I also have issues connecting my bitdo N30 pro to my raspberry pi 4B. I managed to connect it via internal as well as via external Bluetooth dongle. I can map the buttons and in the batocera menu everything works fine, but as soon as I join a game , like Mario kart on Nintendo 64, 90% of the pad buttons are not assigned anymore and the controller looses connection. When plugged in via USB cable, the controller works fine. Any advice ?

Hi i need help i just bought an 8bitdo Ultimate Wireless Bluetooth controller when I connect it with cable or the dongle I cant config it because batocera detects the control as “Pro Controller” but when I use any button there is no input. What can I do? How can I solve it? Thank you for U help.

Is it already reported to the dev‘s that 8bitdo controllers in switch mode don‘t work anymore?
In my case pi3b+/4b and x64 don‘t work in switch mode (sn30pro/n30pro) in v35.
